Welcome to Ghostgum German Shepherds. We breed Working Line German Shepherds with straight backs. Better known as the "Original " German Shepherd. We are a small kennel and have a personal relationship with all of our dogs. They are our family pets living on a rural property from the small country town of Nanango, Queensland, Australia.
Our German Shepherds are bred for their wonderful temperaments. They are very loving and loyal dogs who want to spend time with you and be a part of your family. Our German Shepherds are large and powerful dogs with sturdy frames and big bones. They are easy to train in all types of dog work, such as Security, Personal Protection, Tracking, Schutzhund, Herding, Agility and Obedience. They also make great family pets. What ever your preference is, our German Shepherds will suite your needs. Our German Shepherds have a long history of great hips and elbows and are all DM clear. Our goal is to produce strong, healthy, intelligent, active, and well balanced puppies. Pups are socialised with other animals and humans.
Puppies come with MDBA Certificate of Pedigree, Vaccinated, Wormed, Heart Wormed, Microchipped, Vet Checked, Flea Treated and a puppy starter pack.
We have puppies in a variety of colours.
German Shepherds are highly active dogs and described in the breed standards as self- assured. The German Shepherd is marked by willingness to learn and an eagerness to have purpose. They are curious which makes them excellent guard dogs and are very protective of their families. They are not inclined to become immediate friends with strangers. Well trained and socialised German Shepherds have a reputation as being very safe family pets.
